Growing up, I LOVED to snack! Then as I got older, I almost felt guilty when I allowed myself a snack. But when you’re pursuing a healthy lifestyle, snacking is totally okay! In fact, I encourage my clients to have healthy snacks spread throughout their day so that they are less likely to overeat at lunch and dinner. One rule–plan the snack, portion it out onto a plate or bowl, and eat it mindfully. Don’t just sit in front of the TV and eat mindlessly from the bag or box. 😉
